For those whose spouse has died within the past two years, this group provides an opportunity to meet with others who are going through many of the same experiences. The goal is to share concerns and methods of coping with loss and to support and encourage each other in grief and readjustment to life without your loved one. Anyone interested in further information regarding the support group should contact the group's facilitator, Maura Barrett by email or phone at the Parish Office at 518-439-4951 x104,
The Bereavement Support Group has finished for the year and will restart in September. Please contact Maura if you or someone you know might benefit from this group.
No matter the source of your loss, the Parish stands by you in your grief. Please contact Maura to hear about the many resources to help you.
Adult Funeral Acolytes and Ministers - When there is a parish funeral, our funeral ministers welcome the bereaved into the church, provide a supportive presence, and assist the presiding priest with the funeral Mass. Ministers are contacted when a funeral is scheduled and volunteer as time allows them. Training is provided. Please contact Maura Barrett if you would like to be on the list to serve as a funeral minister.
